The concept 'coming out of the spiritual closet' encourages us to be open and authentic about our spiritual beliefs and to find the courage to live in alignment with our true selves. Spiritual practice is a beautiful, feminine endeavor unique to each individual. My own spirituality has led me to this moment, sharing with you today.
Both terms 'Feminine' and 'Spirituality' can have myriad meanings, so let's first stay grounded with the following two quotes:
"The feminine is not about gender, it’s about a way of being, nurturing, caring, and intuitive." - Lisa Lister "Begin to see yourself as a soul with a body rather than a body with a soul."- Wayne Dyer

My spirituality allows me to embody a natural feminine connection with the natural world around me. It empowers me to meditate daily, light candles and incense, visualize a sparkling golden light, send a healing prayer and much more. These practices enrich my everyday life, allowing me to forgive, love, and embrace the divine feminine essence from both the East and the West.
Until recently, I hesitated to discuss spirituality openly. It took several reflections on 'why?' to grasp the complexities of our shared experience that often discourages expressions of feminine spirituality. Current heteronormative culture suppresses indigenous practices, marginalizes feminine divine figures, enforces rigid gender roles, and prioritizes material wealth over spiritual well-being. To reconnect with the Feminine Divine, we must challenge these systems by examining our own beliefs, honoring diversity and simplicity, and embracing qualities such as intuition, nurturing, and emotionality—traits often dismissed in a masculine-dominated world.
Embracing my Divine Feminine essence by listening to my inner voice, honoring my opinions, and nurturing my spirit allowed my life's journey to unfold elegantly. I practiced mindfulness, received yoga and meditation teacher training, ended stale relationships, left the corporate world, and became a professional spiritual teacher and life coach.
Welcome to My Aura Coaching Journey
Today, I am excited to introduce my Aura Coaching practice through my first blog entry. I hope you find inspiration here and will be open to explore the idea of 'coming out of your spiritual closet.'
Below are five simple practices to embrace your spiritual journey and awaken the Divine Feminine within you.
1. Three-Minute Meditation
Daily meditation can help quiet your mind, reduce stress, and increase self-awareness. Try it: You don't even need to close your eyes. Just pause, find stillness, observe your breath. As you inhale, silently call your name; as you exhale, relax.
2. Three-Minute Stretching
Gentle movements and breathwork can cultivate peace and harmony within your body. Try it: You don't even need to stand up. Just pause, notice where your body touches a surface, and stretch that part to feel the pressure. Now, take a long breath and relax as you breathe out.
3. Three-Minute Journaling
Observing your thoughts, feelings, and emotions can be a powerful tool for transformation. Try it: Next time you feel anger or any negative emotion rising, pause. Silently name your emotions with an inhalation—it's anger, it's sadness, it's lack of support. Exhale and release the pent-up energy. If time permits, journal.
4. Three-Minute Nature Connection
Reconnect with Mother Earth and her grounding energy. Try it: Whether you're walking in the park, sitting by water, admiring a flower, or gazing at the sky, breathe in nature's essence and breathe out whatever is holding you back.
5. Three-Minute Sacred Rituals
Rituals can help you feel empowered, connected, and aligned with your true self. Try it: Create your own ritual to honor your Divine Feminine essence. Light a candle daily, set an intention for the day, drink a glass of water with gratitude, or practice any type of self-care with love for yourself.
Remember that your journey toward self-discovery and personal growth is continuous, so be gentle and patient with yourself along the way. Embrace the power of your femininity and watch as your inner light shines brighter. Love & Light to you, Salana Aura.
